Bachelor meal -cili padi 'spaghetti' olio with chicken breast

Hello everybody and welcome!!

I started 'cooking' back in primary school, when I was about 11-12 years old. Reason was simple, there were times that I got hungry and got tired of 'maggie mee' instant noodle. So started to cook things that my parents would; sambal ikan bilis, sardines, sambal daging/ayam, ayam goreng kunyit and of course rice. Many failures along the way but as I grew older I ventured into other 'harder' cuisines such as rendang (not rendang tok), nasi tomato and ayam pandan. Most of the recipes were obtained either from my dad or off the internet.

Olio is one my favourite as it is really easy to be prepared. One evening I wanted olio for dinner but ran out of vermicelli/angel hair....I replaced them with some pasta that I got for free couple of months ago. If you are a bachelor(or married) and hungry, you might want to try this! (seriously quicker than waiting for rice to boil!)

cili padi 'spaghetti' olio with chicken (warning bachelor food for bachelors and noobs only)

A piece of chicken breast would do. Cut them into short fingers. Very little fat can be found on chicken breast, healthy +.
4-5 cloves of garlic, 4 bird eyes chillies!! smash them and cut them (or use pastel & mortar). If I'm not mistaken, chillies can help you to increase your metabolic rate....go and wiki it, i'm not sure.

Olive oil obviously for olio. healthy+

Heat-up about 3 table spoon of the oil and chuck those chicken pieces in. Then mill some peppercorn and sprinkle some chilli flakes + paprika powder. Then the garlic + chillies. Stir fry them, it won't take long.

When you are done with that mix them with the 'spaghetti' (as I said I ran out of spaghetti). The spaghetti must have already been tossed and lightly mixed with some olive oil.

Enjoy your bachelor food with sprinkles of  parmesan cheese.
